About Cindy

Cindy is a former USA Pickleball Ambassador and long-time advocate for growing the sport at the community level. Since discovering pickleball in 2014, she has introduced countless new players to the game, launched programs in local YMCAs and community centers, and organized hundreds of social events, scrambles, round robins, and tournaments. Known for her emphasis on player experience and creating welcoming, inclusive play environments, Cindy has helped transform pickleball programming across the St. Louis region. Her hands-on event-management expertise and commitment to building connections on and off the court shaped this guide and the practical systems it contains. When she’s not playing, teaching, or cheering from the sidelines, Cindy enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and sharing her love of pickleball with new communities.
